opened his voice in response to his ex-husband’s new relationship with Katy Perry, who finally openly flaunted it in public.
Sophie Grégoire in the Arlene Is Alone podcast said that she chose not to care because she didn’t want these things to disturb her life too much, although she admitted that she was affected by the news.

“We are all human and things affect us,” said Sophie Grégoire, as reported by Page Six on Sunday (16/11).”And that’s normal.”
“How you react to something is your decision. So I chose to try listening to music, not noise.”
“I’m very aware that there are a lot of things out there that can be triggers, we’re human. What I do with that is my decision. What kind of woman I want to be through this is my decision,” she said.
“Does that mean I have no emotions? That I don’t cry, scream, laugh? No!”
Sophie Grégoire said that she allowed herself to feel all these emotions, whether angry or disappointed, but still thought about her family or Trudeau’s family.
“We have separate lives, but we have one family life,” Grégoire said.”And I think we need two individuals in a couple … to untangle the problem.”

Justin Trudeau was previously married to Sophie Gregoire between 2005 and separated in 2023. The two also have three children from that marriage.
Trudeau is currently 53 years old, while Sophie is 50 years old.They married at the end of May 2005. Both of them also agreed to raise their three children together.
“They remain a close family and Sophie and the Prime Minister are focused on raising their children in a safe, loving and collaborative environment,” said a statement from the two in 2023.
