Singapore
will distribute direct cash assistance (
BLT
) of S$100 to S$600 or the equivalent of IDR 1.28 million to IDR 7.71 million (assuming an exchange rate of IDR 12,850 per Singapore dollar) to around 3 million citizens starting December 5 2025.
This is part of the guarantee package ”
assurance package
” which was announced inĀ 2023.
This cash assistance distribution is to help households reduce living costs and provide greater support to low- and middle-income families.

This cash assistance is given to eligible Singaporeans every December from 2022 to 2026.
“In total, eligible Singaporeans will receive between S$700 and S$2,250 (equivalent to Rp. 9 million to Rp. 28.9 million) from the cash payment of the guarantee package over these five years,” said Singapore’s Ministry of Finance in a press release.

This guarantee package also includes discounts, Community Development Council (CDC) vouchers, as well as additional MediSave balances (national medical savings that are mandatory for Singaporeans).
Cash assistance payments for the 2026 benefit year will be paid in December 2025 depending on assessed income and the number of properties owned by Singaporeans.
For those who do not own or own one property and with a maximum net income of S$39 thousand per year or the equivalent of IDR 501 million, they will get S$600.
Meanwhile, those with incomes between S$39 thousand and S$100 thousand or the equivalent of IDR 501 million to IDR 1.28 billion will receive US$269 or the equivalent of IDR 4.5 million.
For those whose income exceeds US$100 thousand or the equivalent of IDR 1.28 billion, the amount given is S$100 or the equivalent of IDR 1.28 million.
Likewise, residents who own more than one property will receive S$100, regardless of their income.
For the 2027 benefit year assistance payments will be paid in December 2026, the amount will decrease.
Recipients with a maximum income of S$39 thousand per year or the equivalent of IDR 501 million will receive US$ 250 or the equivalent of IDR 3.2 million.
Meanwhile, those whose income is in the range of US$39 thousand to S$100 thousand or the equivalent of IDR 501 million to IDR 1.28 billion receive S$150 or the equivalent of IDR 1.92 million.
For those whose income is more than S$100 thousand or the equivalent of IDR 1.28 billion, the assistance provided remains S$100 or the equivalent of IDR 1.28 million.Likewise, residents who own more than one property also receive this amount, the same as in the previous year.
Singaporeans can check their eligibility on the govbenefits website by logging in with Singpass (Singapore’s national digital identity).
Singapore’s Ministry of Finance is encouraging its citizens to link their National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) to PayNow until November 23 if they have accounts at participating banks in Singapore.
“This will allow them to receive cash assistance until December 5,” the ministry added.
For residents who receive via Giro, assistance will be received on December 16.However, for those who do not have a valid bank account, cash assistance will be provided via GovCash on December 22.
