“I’m enjoying it. The first bike I touched in the last seven weeks was a scooter in the paddock yesterday, so getting back on a MotoGP bike is definitely not easy.”
“The most difficult thing was trying not to accelerate to the maximum, because actually I felt very good today on the motorbike,” said Jorge Martin as quoted by Crash.
Jorge Martin was in 22nd position in Friday’s practice session (14/11).However, he was only 1.16 seconds behind Pedro Acosta who recorded the fastest time.
This means there are no big differences between racers at the Valencia MotoGP.And Jorge Martin could compete in the front row if he really performs 100 percent.
“It will be a different philosophy at the weekend, trying to treat this race as a test is not easy, because when I am with the other riders and see the times on the big screen, of course I want to keep pushing the motorbike.”
“But it is important for me to understand that my condition is bad and it is important not to have an accident,” said Jorge Martin.
