Ivar Jenner assesses
U-23 Indonesian National Team

Jenner, who was appointed as team captain, even thought that the Indonesian U-23 National Team should be able to score three goals.Jenner also has confidence that the Garuda Muda Team will continue to develop ahead of appearing at the 2025 SEA Games, early December.
“I think our game wasn’t bad. We could have created some good opportunities. The next step is to score goals,” said Ivar, who wants to play in the 2022 SEA Games even though this multi-event event is not included in the FIFA international calendar, as reported by Antara.

“I think we could have scored three goals that shouldn’t have been wasted. But overall, I think this was a good match,” he continued.
Apart from the match results, Ivar Jenner is happy to be back with the national team.This is Ivar’s first appearance after five months away from playing for the national team, especially for the senior team.
Even though he’s not returning for the senior team, this match is still special for Ivar because of his comeback as captain. “Yes, it’s very good. It feels very good for me as a player and also shows the trust of the coach and staff,” said Ivar.
“I was injured so I couldn’t take part in FIFA Match Day in October, and I’m very happy to be back in Indonesia and I love all the fans.”
