Tension between
China
and
Japan
it’s getting hotter in recent times.In fact, China Coast Guard (CCG) ships have reportedly started forming formations and passing through the waters around the Senkaku Islands which are managed by Japan on Sunday (16/11).
China called the move a rights enforcement patrol carried out in accordance with international law.

, the CCG said the operation was part of their routine to protect what they claimed was their sovereign territory.China calls the group of islands Daiyou, while Japan insists the area is part of Tokyo’s administration under the name Senkaku.
The Japanese Embassy in Beijing has not yet responded to this latest report.
Previously, the two countries were at odds after Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi’s statement regarding a possible attack on Taiwan.
Last week, before parliament, Takaichi delivered a speech saying that an armed attack on Taiwan could be a reason for Japan to deploy troops for defense.
“If the emergency in Taiwan involves warships and the use of military force, then it could be considered a situation that threatens [Japan’s] survival,” Takaichi was quoted as saying

China’s Foreign Ministry then responded by saying it would not tolerate Takaichi’s comments.
“The Japanese side should immediately correct its erroneous actions and retract its baseless statements,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said at a press conference.
However, Takaichi emphasized that he would not take back his words and said his stance was in line with Japanese principles.Takaichi is known as a figure who is tough on China and an outspoken supporter of Taiwan.
In its development, the Chinese Embassy in Japan also warned its citizens regarding travel to Sakura Country.The message conveyed significant risks to the personal safety and lives of Chinese citizens in Japan.
