Apart from that, this final was the first for Gregoria this year.This year was quite difficult for Gregoria because he experienced vertigo which made him absent for about three months and he was not immediately able to return to 100 percent condition.
“Grateful for today’s result, even though I felt I didn’t play cleanly, I was able to get through it with a win. Third final in a row at the Kumamoto Masters, happy and unexpected.”
“This is a very meaningful achievement because this has been a difficult year for me after taking several breaks due to illness,” said Gregoria as quoted from the PBSI release.
In the final round, Gregoria will face the winner of the duel between Nozomi Okuhara vs Ratchanok Intanon.He hopes to be able to give 100 percent of his ability in the final match
“In the final I hope I can play optimally, can have fun on the field, not think too much about the results. I want to fight as hard as possible, I am determined to win but I want to focus on the process first.”
