admitted that he would issue regulations regarding the formation of teams in schools to overcome the problem of bullying or
bullying
.
Mu’ti conveyed this in response to the bullying case that occurred at SMPN 19 in South Tangerang, resulting in fatalities.
The Minister of Basic Education admitted that he had not received a detailed report regarding the case.However, Mu’ti admitted that he would issue a Ministerial Regulation (Permen) to strengthen the handling of bullying that had been previously regulated.

“We will later issue a Dasmen Ministerial Regulation to improve the previous Dasmen Ministerial Regulation,” he said at SMP Negeri 4 Bekasi, West Java, Monday (17/11).
Mu’ti explained that later these teams would be formed in each school with a more humanist and participatory approach from all parties.
“Later, it will involve parents, students and also the community. So that the various violence that has occurred so far will not happen again in the future,” he said.
Previously, MH, a victim of bullying at SMPN 19 South Tangerang, died after receiving treatment at Fatmawati Hospital, South Jakarta.The victim died on Sunday (16/11) morning, after undergoing treatment for a week.
MH, a seventh grade student, became a victim of bullying by his classmates.The incident occurred at SMPN 19 on October 20 2025 in the school room when it was break time.At that time, the victim was hit on the head with an iron bench.
After the incident, on Tuesday (21/10), the victim began to complain about the pain caused by the incident.When the family did an in-depth investigation, it turned out that the victim admitted that he had often received bullying ranging from being hit to being kicked.
