(US) grew by 4.3 percent in the third quarter of 2025. This figure is the fastest rate in the last two years.

, this growth exceeds the US economic rate in the second quarter of 2025, amounting to 3.8 percent.
Based on Gross Domestic Product (GDP) data released by the US Ministry of Trade, Tuesday (23/12), this growth was supported by consumer spending which rose 3.5 percent from 2.5 percent and exports which rose 8.8 percent from -1.8 percent in the previous quarter.

US President Donald Trump revealed that this economic growth was the effect of a massive trade tariff policy that was implemented and increased throughout July-September 2025.
He emphasized that there is no inflationary pressure and that this policy is important for national security.
“It is these tariffs that are responsible for these extraordinary US economic figures, and they will only get better,” Trump wrote via social media, Tuesday (23/12).
This US economic growth report is also considered to be able to support the US central bank or The Federal Reserve (The Fed) in lowering interest rates at its policy meeting next month.
However, the GDP report for the fourth quarter of 2025 which will be released this month is expected to be depressed.This is thought to be due to a decrease in government spending as a result of the 43-day federal government shutdown.
