and Michele Reiner were revealed on death certificates.The couple was confirmed to have died within minutes after suffering several injuries caused by sharp objects.
Variety
on Tuesday (23/12) reported that the couple’s death certificate listed the cause of death as “by knife, by another person” and listed the time between attack and death as “a few minutes.”

Rob (78), the legendary actor turned director, and his wife Michele (70) were found dead on December 14 at their home in Brentwood.Rob was found at 15.45 and Michele was found at 15.46.
Rob and Michele’s bodies were found by one of their children, Romy, who was called after the massage therapist was unable to contact the couple.
Their son Nick was arrested and charged with two counts of murder that same night.According to the death certificate, Rob and Michelle were cremated.

Rob and Michele Reiner met when Rob directed the romantic comedy When Harry Met Sally and married a few months later in 1989. They have three children, Nick, Romy, and Jake.
Rob also adopted his daughter, Tracy, in his first marriage to Penny Marshall.
Jake and Romy first spoke about their parents’ deaths on December 17.They have since released a statement to express their gratitude for the “outpouring of love and support.”
“Words cannot even begin to describe the unimaginable pain we are experiencing at every moment. The horrific and devastating loss of our parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, is something no one should have to experience.”
“They are not just our parents; they are our best friends,” they said in a statement.
Jake and Romy added that a memorial service in honor of Rob and Michele will be held “at a later date.”
Rob Reiner is the son of famous writer, director, comedian Carl Reiner.He starred in the sitcom All in the Family (1971) before directing films, such as This Is Spinal Tap, When Harry Met Sally, A Few Good Men, and Stand by Me.
Rob’s latest film, Spinal Tap II: The End Continues, was released earlier this year.
