Because the KKA route was cut off after the disaster began with flash floods and landslides at the end of last November, starting from Kampung Buntul to Kampung Kem, Permata District, Bener Meriah Regency.
“From Kem to Buntul, residents had to walk five hours over extreme terrain. Not a few of them were tired and injured. Therefore, we invite the relevant parties to immediately set up a health post there,” he said.
One of the residents of Takengon, Heri, said that two days ago he and two of his relatives were also determined to go through this extreme route to buy rice and basic necessities.
“Just buy rice, if we wait for help from the government we will die first,” said Heri.
Exactly 20 days after the flood and landslide disaster, the people of Central Aceh and Bener Meriah have run out of food due to isolation.
People are now taking the initiative to cross the KKA crossing route even though they have to walk through steep terrain just to be able to buy food in the neighboring area, namely Lhokseumawe City.
