“How do I make people believe that he can’t play? Because we tried several times while reading, if it’s like this, friends who are there watching can still play (acting), this isn’t a failure in acting,” said Vino.
“So those things actually became a challenge for me, especially how to translate Ernest’s script,” he said at the gala premiere of Lupa Daratan in Jakarta, Wednesday (10/12).
He then felt that this was a challenge in itself to really look like he couldn’t act in front of the camera.

In real life, the actor, who has been nominated for the Citra Cup seven times, admits that he has never really lost his acting skills in front of the camera.
However, he actually experienced other things, such as forgetting lines or even being unable to act.
“If you forget to act, thank God you don’t. You often forget dialogue,” admitted Vino.
“But sometimes I feel like I’m getting used to acting like that. For example, for one scene, if you repeat it a lot, you don’t actually get the feeling, but sometimes you feel like you’re feeling like that. Especially for emotional scenes,” he said.
Lupa Daratan is a comedy film featuring Vino G. Bastian as Vino Agustian, an actor who is so successful he has won awards.He was so arrogant when he was at the peak of his career.
In the midst of this situation, Vino suddenly lost his acting skills.In fact, he has a big project in progress.His career as an actor was on the line because of this.
The film was directed and written by Ernest Prakasa, and produced by Imaginari Pictures as a project for Netflix.
Apart from Vino G. Bastian, the film also stars Dea Panendra, Agus Kuncoro, Emil Kusumo, and Mike Lucock.
Lupa Daratan airs December 11 and can be watched on Netflix.
