The National Nutrition Agency emphasized that there is no coercion for students to receive Free Nutritious Food or MBG during school holidays.However, in order to maintain consistency in efforts to improve the nutrition of school-age children, schools are given the freedom to arrange MBG distribution schemes during the holidays.
Apart from targeting students, the MBG program also continues to be intensified for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and toddlers as part of efforts to improve the quality of community nutrition.
