VIDEO: Greenpeace Says There Are 1219 Concession Permits in Aceh, North Sumatra, West Sumatra

Head of Greenpeace’s Global Campaign for Indonesian Forests, Kiki Taufik, stated that there were 1219 permits, ranging from mining, palm oil and timber plantation permits, which were charged to Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra.It should be noted that some of the areas for which permits are issued are part of river watersheds (DAS) whose function should not be changed.And according to Kiki, there are many parties in the government who are involved in granting this permit.
