Police
said the victim died as a result
fire
at the Terra Drone Building in Cempaka Baru, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta (Jakpus) increased to 22 people.
“This fire incident at Terra Drone, currently at 17.00, the latest data on victims is 22, of which seven are men and 15 women,” said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro to journalists, Tuesday (9/12).

Susatyo said the bodies of the 22 victims had been taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital for further examination.Including, the identification process.
“And during the evacuation there were also several officers who were injured due to broken glass and so on,” said Susatyo.
According to Susatyo, currently the fire brigade (damkar) is tidying up all the equipment.Once completed, he said, the crime scene (TKP) process will continue.
“After everything is neat, then the police will carry out an initial crime scene investigation together with laboratory personnel who are also present to look for the cause of this fire incident,” he said.
A fire broke out at the Terra Drone Building located in Cempaka Baru, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta (Jakpus) on Tuesday (9/12) afternoon.The fire is thought to have started from a battery on the 1st floor of the building.
“At around 12.30 there was a battery on the 1st floor, that was the one that caught fire. Then it was extinguished by employees, then it turned out that the burning battery spread because on the 1st floor this is one of the warehouses,” Susatyo told reporters.
At the time of the incident, employees were on their lunch break.Some employees were said to be outside, while others went up to floors two to six to rest.
“Then when it caught fire, the fire got bigger, then the smoke rose to the sixth floor,” said Susatyo.
