Indonesian National Futsal Team
The U-16s are close to hosts Thailand in the 2025 AFF Futsal U-16 Cup standings after the first match, Tuesday (23/12).
The Indonesian National Futsal Team will be the opening match for the 2025 AFF Futsal U-16 Cup against Myanmar at Nonthaburi Hall.
Garuda Muda went through the first match well after winning 4-2.Having fallen behind with a goal scored by Lin Latt Htun (8′), Indonesia recovered with goals from Akmal Nashrur Rizki (16′), Mahesa Aleandra Putra Nurdiansyah (19′), and Muhammad Ibnu Alan (33′).Meanwhile, another goal for Myanmar was scored by Htet Wai Phyo (35′).

The victory over Myanmar was capital for the U-16 National Futsal Team ahead of facing another strong team, Vietnam, on Wednesday (24/12).
In the second match, hosts Thailand got fantastic results after mercilessly crushing Brunei Darussalam 20-0.
Thanjue Thawin was the star of Thailand U-16’s victory with his five goals.Followed by Wangsilpakhun Punno and Petchtiam Boonyarit who each scored 4 goals.
Meanwhile Sunet Tanapob scored two goals.The remaining one goal each was scored by Srisuwan Narawit, Srijuy Achita, Manoonphol Wachirawit, Sriraksa Ratthawit.
Phuwipadawat Thanawat completed Thailand’s victory over Brunei to 20-0 with the final goal in the 40th minute.
With this big win, Thailand U-16 has the right to be at the top of the 2025 AFF Futsal U-16 Cup standings with 3 points.Thailand is ahead on goal difference over Indonesia.
