Head of the Jombang Police Narcotics Unit, Inspector Bowo Tri Kuncoro, the two suspects are Yulius Vasi (35), a resident of Wonorejo Hamlet, Sidowarek Village, Ngoro District, Jombang Regency, and Rama Susanto (43) alias Comek, a resident from Surabaya.
Currently, Yulius and Rama are being held at the Jombang Police Detention Center (Rutan) to undergo further legal proceedings.

“For the time being, we still have 2 suspects in custody, Y and R, but it doesn’t rule out the possibility that new suspects will emerge,” said Bowo, Thursday (18/12).
This case was revealed to have started with the arrest of Yulius in Cukir Village, Diwek District, Jombang, on Sunday (14/12) afternoon.
From the results of the investigation, it was discovered that Yulius bought marijuana seeds, which then led to the development of the case and the raid on Rama’s rented house in Mojongapit.
He also explained that the suspect Rama had occupied a rented house located on Jalan Pakubuwono Mojongapit for 10 months to use as a
greenhouses
marijuana cultivation.

Specifically for the suspect Rama, the police charged him under Article 114 Paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 111 Paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 of Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
Previously, the Jombang Police raided a rented house on Jalan Pakubuwono, Mojongapit Village, Jombang District, Jombang Regency, East Java, Monday (15/12), which was used to grow marijuana.
During the raid, the police arrested a man with the initials R (43), a resident from Surabaya.From inside his rented house, officers found 110 marijuana plants, dried marijuana weighing 5.3 kilograms, as well as marijuana that had been soaked in several jars.
Monitoring the location, Jombang Police joint officers combed all parts of the rented house.Two of the three rooms are known to function as greenhouses for growing marijuana.Apart from that, the kitchen area and back garden of the house are also used as planting areas.
