released the National Security Strategy (NSS) document which contains the wishes

to the world on Thursday (4/12).
The 33-page document is known as the Trump Corollary.The file contains an explanation of US views regarding US foreign policy under Trump’s leadership.

In his introductory note to the strategy, Trump called the document a road map.
“This is a roadmap to ensure America remains the greatest and most successful country in human history, and the home of freedom on earth,” Trump said in the document, quoted
Politico
.
In the document, Trump also wants the US to maintain a larger-scale military in the Western Hemisphere to fight drugs against hostile powers.
The United States, they continued, must be at the forefront in the Western Hemisphere to show the strength of this country.
“Provide a more adequate Coast Guard and Navy to control sea lanes, prevent illegal and other unwanted migration, reduce human and drug trafficking, and control key transit routes in times of crisis,” the document said.
The document also contains a kind of curse aimed at Europe which shows that the continent is in decline and does not pay attention to the Middle East and Africa.
The new National Security Strategy also states the US must make challenging choices in the global realm.
“After the end of the Cold War, American foreign policy elites convinced themselves that permanent American domination of the rest of the world was in our country’s best interests,” the document continues.
The statement also stated, “However, the affairs of other countries only concern us if their activities directly threaten our interests.”
Not only that, the NSS document includes views on China.Many US officials view the East Asian country as a threat.
In the document, the administration promised to rebalance America’s economic relations with China.
“By prioritizing reciprocity and justice to restore America’s economic independence,” they said.
However, the document also states that trade with China must be balanced and focus on non-sensitive factors.Washington even called for maintaining mutually beneficial economic relations with Beijing.
The NSS document also states the US wants to prevent war in the Indo-Pacific.This is a sign that tensions in the region are increasing, including China-US, China-Japan and China-Philippines.
“We will also maintain our long-standing declaratory policy regarding Taiwan, meaning the United States does not support any unilateral changes to the status quo in the Taiwan Strait,” the statement said.
Apart from that, the US document also highlights the issue of the Russia-Ukraine war and negotiating an end to hostilities between the two countries.
“The United States’ primary interest is to negotiate a rapid cessation of hostilities in Ukraine,” the document continued.
