officially said farewell to the Uzbekistan national team, Tuesday (11/11).Rumors of the coach to
Indonesian National Team
getting stronger.
This 44 year old man started as head coach of Uzbekistan in 2025, after previously managing the U-23 team since 2021. He also served as interim coach of Uzbekistan in 2018.
Kapadze’s best achievement was qualifying Uzbekistan for the 2026 World Cup. Not long after, his position as head coach was replaced by Fabio Cannavaro in October 2025.

However, Kapadze is still accompanying Cannavaro in the process of changing the coaching staff.This November, Kapadze was officially released from his contract.
“My time with the national team has ended. These years were full of emotions, victories and unforgettable experiences,” wrote Kapadze on his personal Instagram.
“I would like to thank the players, staff and federation for their trust and cooperation,” Kapadze added.
The coach from Uzbekistan also appreciated the support of the supporters.Best wishes for the Uzbekistan national team.

The Uzbekistan Federation has actually asked Kapadze to stay on the coaching team.However, Kapadze admitted to the Uzbek media that he wanted to seek new experiences.
“I still have the opportunity to stay with the national team, but I have my own ideas. I intend to gain new experience and increase my knowledge,” he said.
Meanwhile, currently the position of Indonesian National Team coach is vacant.PSSI is looking for the right person and Kapadze is considered a suitable candidate.
