A motorcyclist died after being run over by a vehicle

Information about the incident also circulated on social media.One of them was uploaded to the Instagram account @warungjurnalis.
In the uploaded photo, the victim can be seen being evacuated by police officers.The victim’s body was seen being put in a body bag to be taken to an ambulance.

“A motorbike rider died after being run over by a JakLingko public transportation on Jalan Raya Cilangkap, Cipayung District, East Jakarta, Wednesday (12/11/2025),” said the statement in the upload.

East Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Traffic Unit Head AKP Darwis Yunarta explained that the unfortunate incident started when the motorbike was about to overtake a JakLingko vehicle.
“So the motorbike wanted to overtake JakLingko, JakLingko was slow, right next to JakLingko, when he wanted to overtake JakLingko from the opposite direction there was another motorbike,” said Darwis when contacted, Wednesday.
Darwis said the motorbike was then hit by another motorbike rider and ended up falling.Unfortunately, the motorbike fell in front of JakLingko’s vehicle.
“When it fell in front of JakLingko, it ended up being hit by JakLingko,” said Darwis.
