“Like actually
bullying
Yes, that’s not originally from an Islamic boarding school.”Only the Islamic boarding school sometimes becomes an object,” said Nasaruddin.
According to Nasaruddin, although there are many cases
bullying
What happened was that Islamic boarding schools were still in demand by the public. This is proven by the high number of new students admitted from year to year.
“But no matter how great Islamic boarding schools are, they become targets and become objects, but the public will also judge them. Now the proof is that despite this, Islamic boarding school enthusiasts are now increasing,” he said.
Meanwhile, schools or general education institutions, he said, are gradually losing interest. Some of them finally closed due to the student number crisis.
“And on the other hand, a lot of public education is currently closed, there are many student crises,” he said.
The Ministry of Religion also has data regarding the increasing number of people now choosing to send their children to Islamic boarding schools or madrasas.Even though he did not reveal the data, Nazaruddin said that the community wants their children’s religious education to be guaranteed.
“They ran to the madrasah, ran to the boarding school. That’s the community’s business, right. That’s why the community assesses what kind of person my child will be in the future. So we have data at the Ministry of Religion that interest in enrolling in a madrasah is increasing from year to year,” he said.
Nasaruddin said it is the people’s right to determine their education.Even though Islamic boarding schools are being hit by many slanted issues, according to him, the public can still see things objectively.
“This means that these people have their own choices, right? Why do they go to madrasas? Why do they go to Islamic boarding schools? Even though there are all kinds of issues, right? They are very objective too,” he said.
