Burhanuddin admitted that he was grateful for being assisted by the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) in taking action against prosecutors who violated the rules.

“I am grateful for the assistance from the Corruption Eradication Commission,” said Burhanuddin to reporters, Wednesday (24/12).
Burhanuddin admitted that he had reminded his staff to carry out their duties in accordance with applicable regulations.He ensured that he would not hesitate to take firm action against any member who committed a violation.
“I just remind them in the regions not to do things that are contrary to the rules, with their promises, promises at the beginning when they are appointed. What is certain, whatever, I will act firmly,” he said.
Previously, the Attorney General named five suspects in a case of alleged extortion related to the handling of general criminal cases under the Information and Electronic Transactions Law (UU ITE) involving foreign nationals.
The five suspects are the prosecutor with the initials HMK as Head of the General Crimes Section (Kasipidum) of the Tigaraksa District Prosecutor’s Office, RV as the Public Prosecutor, and RZ as Head of Subdivision at the Banten Prosecutor’s Office.
The other two suspects from the private sector are DF, who works as a lawyer, and MS, a translator or linguist.
The KPK also arrested two prosecutors from the North Hulu Sungai District Prosecutor’s Office (Kejari HSU) in an OTT in South Kalimantan.The two prosecutors are the Head of the North Hulu Sungai District Prosecutor’s Office (Kajari), Albertinus P. Napitupulu, and the Head of the Intelligence Section (Kasi Intel) Asis Budianto.
At that time, the Head of the Civil and State Administration Section (Kasi Datun) Tri Taruna Fariadi ran away when investigators were about to arrest him.
