Percy Jackson and the Olympians
returns for season 2, a full two years after the first season aired in December 2023. Like its predecessor, season 2 is an adaptation of the hit novel by Rick Riordan.
After The Lightning Thief for the first season, now it is the turn for the second book in the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series, entitled The Sea of Monsters, to be adapted for the screen.

The following is a synopsis of Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2.
Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell) returns to Camp Half-Blood a year later and finds his world turned upside down as his friendship with Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) changes.
He also finds out that he has a one-eyed brother, Tyson (Daniel Diemer), and even his best friend, the satyr Grover (Aryan Simhadri).

Not only that, the protective border of Camp Half-Blood was surrounded and penetrated by Kronos’ troops.
Percy’s journey to set things right will take him off the map and into the deadly Sea of Monsters, where a secret destiny awaits the son of Poseidon.
He begins an epic adventure into the Sea of Monsters in search of Grover Underwood, and to find the one thing that might save the camp, namely the legendary Golden Fleece.
Percy is assisted by demigods, such as Annabeth Chase and Clarisse La Rue (Dior Goodjohn), along with his one-eyed half-brother, Tyson.
The situation becomes even more complicated because Percy’s survival turns out to be the key to preventing Luke (Charlie Bushnell) and the Titan Kronos from destroying Camp Half-Blood and even Olympus.
New adventures mean lots of new characters drawn from Greek mythology.Among those new to the second season are Tamara Smart as Thalia Grace, Andra Day as Athena, and Rosemarie DeWitt as Circe.

There are also Aleks Paunovic as Polyphemus, Sandra Bernhard, Kristen Schaal, Margaret Cho as The Gray Sisters, and Timothy Simons as Tantalus.
Courtney B. Vance also joined to replace Lance Reddick as Zeus in the series, as Reddick passed away in 2023.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2 airs every Wednesday from December 10 to January 21 2026 on Disney+.
