After successfully qualifying for the round of 16

(ACL 2), does Persib Bandung have a chance against Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo’s club?
Persib are certain to qualify for the round of 16 after sealing their Group G champion status. This was obtained after beating Bangkok United 1-0 at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium, Wednesday (10/12).
This victory ensured that Maung Bandung finished as group winners with a collection of 13 points, while Bangkok United were runners up with 10 points.

Currently there are 11 teams that have confirmed their qualification for the round of 16.A total of seven clubs are from the Eastern region, while four others are from the Western region.
The teams from the Eastern region that have been confirmed to qualify are Gamba Osaka (Japan), Macarthur FC (Australia), Cong An Ha Noi (Vietnam), Tampines Rovers (Singapore), Pohang Steelers (South Korea), Persib Bandung (Indonesia), and Bangkok United (Thailand).
Meanwhile, the four teams from the Western Region that have locked tickets to the top 16 include Al Wasl (United Arab Emirates), Sepahan (Iran), Al Hussein (Jordan), and Al Nassr (Saudi Arabia).
The round of 16 of ACL 2 will be divided per region and play a knockout phase tournament in home and away matches.The new drawing will be held on December 30.
Referring to regulations, Persib will face the runner up team from Group E, F, or H from the Eastern region.That means Persib will definitely not meet Ronaldo’s club.
Persib can only meet Al Nassr if both teams qualify for the final of ACL 2. The final round of this second Asian caste tournament will be held on May 17 2026 at the headquarters of the finalist team in the Western Region.
