Batman Begins is the first film in The Dark Knight trilogy which tells the story of Bruce Wayne’s journey from famous billionaire to protector of Gotham City.

The journey is told when Bruce Wayne was young and afraid of bats because he once fell into a well and was surrounded by the animals.
Little Bruce lived in a harmonious family because his father, Thomas Wayne, was a wealthy businessman who owned Wayne Enterprise.However, all that changed one night when Bruce and his parents went to see an opera performance.
He had to watch his parents die, killed by street robbers in Gotham.This incident made Bruce Wayne an orphan and raised by Alfred Pennyworth (Michael Caine), the butler of the Wayne family.

The story continues 14 years later when Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) has grown up.He had planned to end the life of his parents’ killer, but the robber’s life was killed first by a Gotham mafia box named Carmine Falcone (Tom Wilkinson).
This action was also discovered by Bruce’s childhood friend, Rachel Dawes (Katie Holmes), which resulted in him being reprimanded for intending to commit a crime against the law.
The feeling of revenge that was still lodged within him brought Bruce Wayne to meet Carmine Falcone.The mafia boss had told Bruce that the source of strength comes from fear.
These words sparked Bruce to travel the world looking for the best place to overcome his fear.He explored places that could help him hone his fighting skills.
In a prison in Bhutan, Bruce is recruited into the League of Shadows led by R’as al Ghul (Liam Neeson).However, Bruce refused the offer because he felt it was not in line with their beliefs.
Bruce then decided to return to Gotham and continue his family business, assisted by Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman).Lucius provides a number of advanced technologies that trigger Bruce to wear the Batman mask.
He becomes a hero who likes to take the law into his own hands to eradicate crime in Gotham.His efforts would not have been successful without the help of James Gordon (Gary Oldman), one of the less corrupt police officers.
