All the bodies underwent an autopsy at the Suselo Slawi Regional Hospital on Thursday (11/12) evening until around 23.00 WIB.The autopsy process was carried out by the Central Java Police Forensic Laboratory team.
Head of the Medical Services Division of Suselo Slawi Tegal Regional Hospital, dr.Teguh Sukma Wibowo said that based on analysis of initial signs on the bodies, the four victims died of suffocation.He also said that there were no bruises or marks from sharp weapons.

“I haven’t seen the official results yet, but from the signs on the bodies, they died of suffocation. There were no bruises or marks from sharp weapons,” said Teguh, Friday (12/12), quoted from detikJateng.
From the symptoms found, he said, the deaths of the victims led to suspicion of gas poisoning.However, the type of gas suspected to be the cause of death still requires further investigation.
“Judging from the symptoms, they died of suffocation as if they were poisoned by a deadly gas. What type, that needs to be investigated further,” he said.
After the autopsy process was complete, the four bodies were returned to their respective families and picked up at around 23.30 WIB.
The four people found dead in the car were:
1. IW, male, (39), address Jatisari, Bekasi City.
2. PRW, male, (40), address Bubakan, Pacitan.
3. WY, female, (38), address Jatisari, Bekasi City.
4. A toddler.
The four victims were previously found lifeless in a silver Toyota Kijang Capsule car with plate number B 1973 KVA at KM 284+800 Pejagan-Pemalang Toll Road, precisely in the Karangjati Village area, Tarub District, Tegal Regency.
Tegal Police Chief AKBP Bayu Prasatyo explained that this incident was first revealed on Thursday (11/12) at around 06.00 WIB.
He revealed that the car had previously stopped at KM 250 in the Brebes area at around 01.00 WIB.
“Because it had stopped for a long time, officers approached the victim’s car. It turned out that the driver was in a weak condition. He was offered a referral to the hospital, but he didn’t want to,” said Bayu.
The car then continued traveling east.However, a few hours later the vehicle was again found parked at KM 284+800.
The toll officer tried knocking on the car’s door and window, but got no response.
“Because there was no response, the toll road reported this incident to the Tegal Police. A joint team then came to handle the car,” said Bayu.
