However, Trunoyudo did not explain further how the six members named as suspects were involved in the attack.
Pancoran Police Chief Commissioner Mansur previously said the incident started when the two officers stopped a motorcyclist at the scene.
“The chronology is that there was one of the motorbike users. Well, the motorbike was suddenly stopped by these friends. After it was stopped, it stopped, as usual. Well, it just stopped, this is according to witness testimony, then it continued to stop, the other road users got out of the car,” said Mansur.
Mansur said the beating was carried out by the people in the car.He said the beating took place quickly.
“Suddenly a car came along with the driver on the road. The driver of the car didn’t know where he came from and suddenly got out to help. Then he hit the matel,” he said.
After the beating, unknown mobs returned to the location and burned nine kiosks, six two-wheeled vehicles and one four-wheeled vehicle.
From the results of the investigation, as many as six members of the National Police have been named as suspects in the beating to death.
Trunoyudo said the six people named as suspects included JLA, RGW, IAB, IAM, BN and AM.According to him, they served at the National Police Headquarters.Trunoyudo stated that the suspects were charged under Article 170 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code.
“Article 170 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code applies. The beating resulted in the victim’s death,” he said.
