opens his voice after being questioned by the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) in the Pertamina Energy Trading Limited crude oil procurement corruption case (
Petral
).
He explained that the inspection was carried out in his capacity as Senior Vice President, Head of Integrated Supply Chain, PT Pertamina Persero in 2008-2009.
“I was summoned as a witness to provide information regarding the investigation of a case. I cannot explain the substance,” he said in a written statement, Tuesday (23/12).

“As a good citizen, I support law enforcement. And I hope the information I provide will make the case clearer,” he added.
He explained that the examination was carried out for five hours from 09.00 WIB to 14.00 WIB at the AGO Round Building, on Tuesday (23/12).
Furthermore, Sudirman admitted that he had repeatedly stated that the aim of reforming supply chain governance at that time was not being implemented well.
“Because the new leaders at Pertamina in 2009 amputated the function of the ISC. That is what caused the practice which is often called the oil and gas mafia to continue for quite a long time,” he said.
Previously, the Attorney General admitted that he was investigating a case of alleged corruption in the management of crude oil and finished oil refinery products at Pertamina Energy Trading Limited or Petral.
This case has been upgraded to the investigation stage since October 2025. However, the Attorney General’s Office has not named a suspect or announced the amount of state financial losses in this case.
