The police arrested nine children suspected of being the perpetrators of bullying which caused a student with the initials MMA (12) at the Manjung Santri Islamic Boarding School, Regency

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the Wonogiri Police, Inspector Agung Sadewo, said that the nine people who were arrested had the status of students at the Manjung Santri Islamic Boarding School.The alleged perpetrators are still minors so they have not been arrested.

Agung added that the police had also secured a number of pieces of evidence in the case.The evidence that was secured included the victim’s clothes, x-ray results, x-types, and the victim’s medical records
Apart from that, a number of Islamic boarding school administrators have also been questioned regarding MMA’s death.
“That’s it. Approximately five people, there are cottage administrators and others too,” he said.
Meanwhile, the owner of the Manjung Santri Islamic Boarding School, Eko Julianto, handed this case over to the police.He admitted that he was shocked by the incident that occurred.
“We leave it to the police. Everyone is confused about this incident. Let the Police handle everything,” said Eko.
