U-23 Indonesian National Team

The first half of the Indonesia vs Mali match ended in a 1-1 draw.The visiting team Mali took the lead through Sekou Kone’s goal in the 11th minute.Indonesia then equalized at 1-1 in the 38th minute thanks to Mauro Zijlstra’s kick.
Indra Sjafri made a substitution at the start of the second half by playing Ricky Pratama who replaced Hokky Caraka.

Mali immediately had a goal opportunity at the start of the second half, but Daffa made a brilliant save in the 48th minute by parrying Sekou Kone’s right-footed shot from close range.
Indonesia pressed back in the 49th minute.This time Mauro’s shot from inside the penalty box was blocked by Mali’s defense.
Rafael Struick brought the U-23 Indonesian National Team back to a 2-1 lead in the 52nd minute.The goal came from an attack on the right side.Raka Cahyana gave a pass into the middle of the penalty box.

Sekou Kone broke into Indonesia’s goal again in the 70th minute.Kone scored the second goal after taking advantage of Hamidou Makalou’s breakthrough.
Mali implemented high defense after equalizing the score.This condition makes it difficult for Indonesia to find space to play short balls.
In the 77th minute Indonesia made three substitutions.Mauro Zijlstra, Dioi Markx, and Rafael Struick were withdrawn, in came Rayhan Hannan, Brandon, and Jens Raven.
Indonesia had a chance to add a goal when Rayhan was brought down by the opponent in front of the penalty box in the 81st minute.
Dony Tri took the free kick.However, Dony’s horizontal left-footed free kick was blocked by goalkeeper Sissoko.Rayhan got the rebound, but his left footed shot from close range was inaccurate.
In the minute of injury time, Daffa made a crucial save that prevented Mali from taking the lead.Without additional goals in the remaining match, the Indonesian U-23 National Team matched Mali 1-1.
