“The MKD decision is final. So it is allowed to be active again, there is no need for an announcement and now there may be other activities,” said Puan at the DPR RI Building, Jakarta, Tuesday (18/11).
However, he emphasized that the MKD also provided several notes in the decision, such as having to be more careful in behavior.
“Because the decision from the MKD states that the person concerned is allowed to be active again with provisions stating that no, you have to be more careful in your behavior and then you can’t do it again,” he said.

The DPR Honorary Council (MKD) decided that Adies would return to being an active DPR member from the Golkar faction to continue his term of office in the 2024-2029 period.
The MKD held a trial regarding alleged ethical violations against five inactive DPR members following the wave of demonstrations at the end of last August on Wednesday (5/11).
In this decision, Adies and Uya were the defendants who escaped sanctions.Meanwhile, the remaining three, namely Ahmad Sahroni, Nafa Urbach, and Eko Patrio were declared to have violated ethics and were sentenced to inactivity for 3-6 months.
Following the decision, Deputy Speaker of the DPR Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal on Thursday (6/11) said that Adies Kadir’s activation status was waiting for the DPR plenary meeting.
According to him, the DPR leadership will read out Adies Kadir’s activation status at the highest decision-making forum.
