The police will schedule an examination of the parents of SMPN 19 South Tangerang students (
Tangsel
) with the initials MH (13) to investigate the allegations
bullying
or bullying experienced by the victim.
MH, the victim of bullying, died at Fatmawati Hospital on Sunday (16/11) after being treated.
South Tangerang Police Chief AKBP Victor Inkiriwang said an examination would be carried out in the near future.However, he has not revealed exactly when the request for information will be carried out.

“Yesterday, when we mourned, we chatted with the family, in the near future we will serve the family to ask for information,” said Victor at Polda Metro Jaya, Monday (17/11).
Victor said that his party had met with the family several times while the victim was still undergoing treatment.However, at that time the family was still focused on caring for the victim.
“Previously, investigators had met several times, but we still empathized at that time when the deceased was still alive. The parents were still focused on providing treatment,” he said.
Furthermore, Victor said that his party was still continuing to carry out investigations to reveal the alleged bullying experienced by the victim.
“Until now, we are still investigating this case, we have coordinated with related experts, both from UPTD PPA, yesterday KPAI also came down to provide assistance,” he said.
Walkot opened his voice
Mayor of South Tangerang (Tangsel) Benyamin Davnie opened his voice about the bullying case that resulted in the death of a student at SMPN 19. Benyamin said that his party had handed over the case to the police.He said the police were investigating the case.
“The South Tangerang Police are currently conducting an investigation into this case. We’ll just have to wait for the results,” said Benyamin when contacted, Monday (17/11).
Meanwhile, the Head of the Integrated Implementation Unit of the South Tangerang Women and Child Protection Service (UPTD PPA), Tri Purwanto claimed that he had provided psychological assistance to the victim’s family and had communicated with the victim’s legal advisor.
He also claimed to have encouraged the South Tangerang Education and Culture Service (Dindikbud) to provide training and assistance to the Violence Prevention Handling Team (TPPK) in each educational unit.
Go to the house of the alleged bully
The South Tangerang child protection service visited the home of the child suspected of being the perpetrator of a bullying case at SMPN 19. The location was said to be around Ciater, Serpong District.
“So the department has sent a team to the house of the alleged perpetrator,” said Head of the South Tangerang City Women’s and Children’s Protection UPTD, Tri Purwanto.
However, he stated that he did not go with the team to the home of the child in conflict with the law.Tri ensures that the legal process continues to be carried out by the Tangsel Police Satreskrim PPA Unit according to the juvenile justice system.
“Later in the legal process, the Police will definitely collaborate with the Fathers, ABH Social Workers,” he explained.

Previously, MH, a seventh grade student at SMPN 19 Ciater Serpong, a resident of Maruga village RT 11/09, Ciater Village, Serpong District, South Tangerang, Banten was suspected of being a victim of bullying by his classmates.
The incident occurred at SMPN 19 on October 20 2025 in the school room when it was break time.At that time, the victim was allegedly hit on the head with an iron bench.
After the incident, on Tuesday (21/10) the victim began to complain about the pain caused by the incident.When the family did an in-depth investigation, it turned out that the victim admitted that he had often received bullying ranging from being hit to being kicked.
The victim’s older brother, Rizki, said that his younger brother was being treated at a private hospital in South Tangerang City.Because his condition is getting worse, his younger brother has now been referred to Fatmawati Hospital, South Jakarta.
However, after a week of treatment at Fatmawati Hospital, the victim was finally declared dead.
“At six in the morning the family at home received news from the victim’s uncle who was in hospital,” said the family’s attorney, Alvian Adji Nugroho when contacted by telephone on Sunday (16/11).
