The Indonesian National Team Technical Advisor, Jordi Cruyff, is reportedly among the candidates for technical director (dirtek) of the Dutch club, Ajax Amsterdam.
The Eredivisie giants are looking for a new technical director after Alex Kroes resigned.
Kroes left the position of Ajax director following the dismissal of John Heitinga from the position of coach of the club nicknamed de Godenzonen.

Heitinga was sacked by Ajax in early November after a series of bad results for the club, specifically after losing 0-3 to Galatasaray in the Champions League.

Based on De Telegraaf’s report, Jordi Cruyff is not the only Ajax director of technology.
“Ajax still have several names on the list,” wrote De Telegraaf.
In the report it was stated that it was not clear whether Cruyff had been approached by Ajax or not.What is certain is that the former Manchester United and Barcelona player still has a contract with the Indonesian National Team and PSSI.
There is also the name of former Ajax player, Maxwell, who is said to be one of the technical candidates for the club that owns 36 Eredivise titles.
Previously, PSSI General Chair Erick Thohir confirmed that Jordi Cruyff, technical director Alexander Zwiers and chief talent scout Simon Tahamata were still with the Indonesian national team.
The departure of Patrick Kluivert, his assistants and a number of age group coaches after the Indonesian national team failed to reach the 2026 World Cup did not necessarily affect the status of Cruyff, Zwiers and Simon.
