Djuyamto, Agam Syarief Baharudin, and Ali Muhtarom stated that they were thinking about filing an appeal after being sentenced to 11 years in prison in a bribery case involving three corporations in the case of exporting crude palm oil (CPO) and its derivatives in the January-April 2022 period.
“After we coordinate with legal advisors, we will exercise our right to think about it for seven days,” said Djuyamto at a hearing in the Hatta Ali room, Corruption Crime Court (Tipikor) at the Central Jakarta District Court, Tuesday (3/12) evening.
Agam and Ali Muhtarom also made similar statements.The Public Prosecutor’s Team (JPU) also took the same stance.
“We thought about it,” said the prosecutor.

The Jakarta Corruption Court panel of judges led by Efendi with member judges Adek Nurhadi and Andi Saputra sentenced Djuyamto et al to 11 years in prison and a fine of IDR 500 million, subsidiary to 6 months in prison.
Djuyamto was also sentenced to an additional sentence in the form of an obligation to pay compensation of Rp. 9.21 billion, subsidiary to 4 years in prison.Meanwhile, Agam and Ali Muhtarom were required to pay compensation of IDR 6.4 billion each, subsidiary to 4 years in prison.
Djuyamto et al were declared legally and convincingly proven to have committed a criminal act of corruption in the form of receiving bribes together as regulated in Article 6 paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 18 of the Corruption Law in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 1 of the Criminal Code.
In this case, Djuyamto was proven to have received a bribe of IDR 9,211,864,000.Agam Syarief and Ali Muhtarom each received IDR 6,403,780,000.
Meanwhile, former South Jakarta District Court Chairman Arif Nuryanta was proven to have received a bribe of IDR 14,734,276,000, and North Jakarta District Court Junior Civil Registrar Wahyu Gunawan received IDR 2,365,300,000.The verdicts for Arif and Wahyu are scheduled to be read out the same evening.
The sentence against Djuyamto et al was lighter than the prosecutor’s demands, which asked for them to be sentenced to 12 years in prison and a fine of IDR 500 million, subsidiary to 6 months in prison.
