Sugiono said that Mirwan’s actions were contrary to the pledge and oath of Gerindra cadres.
“I think this is a form of bad leadership because in the midst of his people who are experiencing difficulties the person concerned left his place,” said Sugiono in his statement quoted Monday (8/12).

Sugiono said that this was the basis for Mirwan’s dismissal as Chairman of the South Aceh Gerindra DPC.
He explained that the administrative process of dismissal had been carried out at the Gerindra Party DPP level.
Furthermore, the decision letter will be signed by the General Chair of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto.
“I have also ordered the chairman of the Aceh Gerindra Party DPD to find a replacement and at the same time make a decision letter for this,” he said.
Previously, President Prabowo Subianto also criticized Mirwan for going on Umrah without permission when his area was affected by a disaster.
He mentioned Mirwan who ‘ran away’ in the midst of the disaster that hit the South Aceh region.
In a meeting to accelerate disaster management in Sumatra which was held at Sultan Iskandar Muda Air Base, Aceh Besar, Aceh, Sunday (7/12), Prabowo also asked Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian to process Mirwan.
“If those who want to run away, that’s fine, the Minister of Home Affairs can be removed, it will be processed,” said Prabowo.
“That is, if the army deserts, it is in danger of abandoning its subordinates, oh, that’s not possible, sorry, I don’t want to ask which party,” he added.
