SEA Games 2025
on Wednesday (12/5) evening WIB experienced significant changes.The Indonesian contingent is in second place after winning five gold medals.
The top of the 2025 SEA Games medal standings is dominated by Thailand, which has a total of 41 medals.The hosts successfully won 19 gold, 13 silver and nine bronze.
Meanwhile, Indonesia has the right to occupy second place after winning five gold, nine silver and seven bronze.

Indonesia’s five gold medals came from the sports of taekwondo, canoeing, petanque, badminton and swimming.
Indonesia’s first gold medal was presented by the men’s team poomsae taekwondo sport, which was strengthened by Muhammad Alfi Kusuma, Muhammad Hafizh Fachrur Rhozi, and Muhammad Rizal.
Meanwhile, the second gold medal was presented by the Indonesian mixed canoe team who competed in the mixed kayak four 500m event.The Indonesian mixed canoe team was strengthened by Stefani Maysche Ibo, Subhi, Indra Hidayat, and Ramla Baharuddin.
Andri Irawan contributed the third gold from the petanque sport in the men’s singles event.Irawan successfully defeated the representative of Laos, Southammavong Bountamy in the final.
Meanwhile, the fourth medal was won by the men’s team badminton team who successfully defeated Malaysia.Alwi Farhan and his friends performed impressively after beating Malaysia 3-0.
The swimming sport completed Indonesia’s fifth gold medal today through Jason Donovan Yusuf.He recorded the fastest time in the Men’s 100 M Backstroke event which took place in Bangkok.
