Indonesia faced fierce resistance from Vietnam in the duel for tickets to the 2025 SEA Games final. Indonesia even trailed 0-2 after losing the first two sets.
However, the Men’s National Volleyball Team managed to recover in the next three sets.In a situation on the edge, Indonesia won 25-22, 25-19 and 15-10 in the next three sets and qualified for the final round.

The victory of the Indonesian Men’s National Volleyball Team cannot be separated from the success of the Indonesian players in showing their determination to never give up.This is what led Indonesia to escape the threat of being eliminated in the semifinals.
Behind that victory, Rivan was one of the key players.Rivan scored 21 points and was the top scorer in the match.
Apart from Rivan, there were three other Indonesian players who scored double digits in the match against Vietnam.They are Boy Arnez (17), Hendra Kurniawan (12), and Fahri Septian (11).
After beating Vietnam, Indonesia qualified for the final round.In the final round, Indonesia will face host Thailand.
The Indonesia vs Thailand match is an opportunity for Indonesia to extend the strength of the Men’s Volleyball Team in the SEA Games.In the last three editions, the Indonesian Men’s Volleyball Team has always emerged as champion.
