U-23 Indonesian National Team
will face the Philippines in the first match of the 2025 SEA Games. The following is the schedule for Indonesia vs Philippines at the SEA Games.
The U-23 national team occupies Group C at the 2025 SEA Games. The team coached by Indra Sjafri is in the same group as the Philippines and Myanmar.
The number of teams participating in Group C decreased after Singapore moved to Group A. This was after Cambodia decided not to take part in football.

On paper, the Garuda Muda team is the favorite to qualify for the semifinals.This is because the Philippines and Myanmar can ideally be handled by Dony Tri Pamungkas and his friends.
The Indonesia vs Philippines match will be the first step for the Garuda Muda Team in the 2025 SEA Games. This match will take place at the 700th Anniversary Stadium, Chiangmai, December 8 2025 at 18.00 WIB.
The Indonesian U-23 national team will be strengthened by 23 players on the SEA Games stage.Of the 23 players, four play abroad, namely Marselino Ferdinan, Ivar Jenner, Mauro Zijlstra and Dion Markx.
Before taking part in the 2025 SEA Games, Garuda Muda played an international trial match against India and Mali, who each played twice at Madya Stadium, Jakarta and Pakansari Stadium, Bogor Regency.
Of the four trial matches, the U-23 Indonesian National Team achieved two draws and two defeats.
