Meanwhile, the Bank Indonesia (BI) Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (Jisdor) reference rate places the rupiah at IDR 16,668 per US dollar.

The majority of Asian currencies rose.The Philippine peso rose 0.11 percent, the Japanese yen rose 0.51 percent, the Thai baht rose 0.37 percent, and the Malaysian ringgit rose 0.05 percent.
Likewise, the main currencies of the majority of countries strengthened.The European euro was plus 0.10 percent, the Swiss franc rose 0.10 percent, and the Australian dollar rose 0.09 percent.
Doo Financial Futures analyst Lukman Leong said the rupiah tended to be flat against the US dollar because it failed to maintain its strengthening after the release of weak Indonesian Trade data and inflation which showed moderation.
“This could trigger pressure on BI to cut interest rates,” said Lukman
