Indonesian cyclist Riska Amelia Agustina successfully won a silver medal in the women’s downhill event

Thailand 2025 at Khao Kheow Open Zoo, Chonburi, Wednesday (10/12).
Extraordinarily before appearing at the SEA Games, Riska had an accident in training which injured her ribs.
“From the first practice I crashed and injured my ribs, but I endured it. Then this morning during warm-up I crashed again. The pressure was quite big, but I tried to stay calm and not think about anything,” said Riska, quoted by Antara.

Riska successfully won a silver medal after recording a time of 3 minutes 04.874 seconds.Riska successfully followed in the footsteps of Rendy Varera, who previously also won a silver medal in the men’s downhill event.
Riska said she was grateful, even though she couldn’t win a gold medal at the 2025 SEA Games.
“This is my first SEA Games. I am grateful for this result even though I haven’t achieved my first podium,” said Riska.
Competition in the women’s downhill event at the SEA Games is tight.Nine of Southeast Asia’s best MTB racers competed against each other to reach the podium.
Thai racer Vipavee Deekaballes won the gold medal with a record of 3 minutes 3.289 seconds.
Meanwhile, the bronze medal also belonged to Ritthidet Kanokrat from Thailand with a time of 3 minutes 6.778 seconds.
Riska admitted that she presented her first medal at the SEA Games to the people who always supported her struggle.
“I dedicate this medal to everyone who supports me,” said Riska.
