Police revealed that Resbob’s arrest was carried out in Semarang, Central Java, on Monday (15/12).Before being arrested, Resbob allegedly ran away and moved across provinces on the island of Java.
Investigators explained that the movement was not because the perpetrator had a specific destination in each location.The perpetrator is said to have tried to run away as far as possible to avoid being chased by officers.

“There was no aim of going to a particular place to hide. The person concerned tried to run as far as possible from the officers pursuing him,” said Head of the West Java Regional Police Headquarters, Police Commissioner Hendra Rochmawan, when contacted, Tuesday (16/12).
During his escape, Resbob also allegedly left his cell phone (

/HP) to his girlfriend in Surabaya, East Java.Since then, the perpetrator no longer holds the cellphone to cut off traces of communication.
“Then the cellphone was left with his girlfriend in Surabaya. So the person concerned doesn’t have the cellphone anymore,” he said.
The police also conducted searches at the suspect’s parents’ house in Jakarta and also in Surabaya.
Apart from that, the police revealed that the perpetrator had stopped in the upper Semarang area.He is known to have stayed overnight in the Unggaran area.
“In Semarang, he died in the Unggaran area, that was in upper Semarang. But whose house it was, we don’t know whose house it was,” said Hendra.
Regarding the motive for the hate speech committed by the perpetrator against Viking Persib Bandung and the Sundanese people, the police stated that they were still carrying out in-depth investigations.
“We are still investigating the motive at this time. Please be patient,” he said.
As previously reported, the police finally succeeded in arresting YouTuber Resbob, on Monday (15/12).He was arrested after fleeing to a number of areas on the island of Java.
Initial information stated that Resbob was detained in the East Java region.However, after the team that arrested Resbob arrived in Jakarta, they said that the arrest of the YouTuber was secured in the Semarang area, Central Java.
“He was detained in Semarang,” said the Director of Cyber Investigation at the West Java Regional Police, Kombes Resza Ramadianshah, when contacted on Monday evening.
Resbob was arrested in Semarang at around 13.00 WIB.There are several areas in Java that used to be hiding places to escape from police pursuit.
“The team previously conducted a search in Surabaya, Surakarta, and was arrested in Semarang,” said Resza, who directly led the arrest.
