“At that time you accepted me very well, in fact, we still do well to this day. For this reason, I decided to continue my dream with this team until 2028,” said Ridho via social media Instagram, Sunday (16/11).
“It is not a difficult decision to continue dreaming with Persija, because as professional football players, our main dream is to bring a title to the club,” explained the Persija captain.
Regarding a career abroad, Ridho still has ambitions.Even though he has extended his contract with Persija until 2028, the option to work abroad is still possible through a transfer or loan scheme.
One of the reasons Ridho accepted Persija’s contract extension was none other than because the club would approve if there was an offer from abroad.It’s just not explained what the contract clauses would be if Ridho decided to move abroad.
“So what needs to be designed is a long-term plan. Likewise, I need to reflect on myself before deciding to continue the agreement with Persija,” explained Ridho.
“Actually, the desire to test myself playing in a foreign country still burns within me. Amazingly, Persija supports this in writing and transparently as a very reasonable option,” he wrote.
According to Ridho, his contract with Persija is the best in Indonesian football.However, what is meant by best is not the contract figures and bonuses, but also the matter of clauses that are very balanced.
