Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun, who is United States President Donald Trump’s special envoy to combat antisemitism, attracted the attention of Indonesian netizens after a clip of his interview with Israeli media Jerusalem Post (JP) went viral.
In the interview, Kaploun stated that he had been appointed by United States (US) President Donald Trump to lead efforts to eradicate rampant antisemitism in the world.
Why does Malaysia want to build a bridge to Indonesia?
The government of the state of Melaka in Malaysia plans to build a bridge connecting to the Sumatra region in Indonesia.
The bridge, which is planned to be built with a length of 47.7 kilometers, will connect Pengkalan Balak at the Tanah Mosque, to Dumai in Sumatra.
With this bridge, the travel time from Melaka to Sumatra is estimated to be around 40 minutes.
