Raymond/Joaquin will only pair up at the beginning of 2025 and are still in the pratama category at the Cipayung National Training Center.They finally got the opportunity to appear in the Super 500 level tournament. That opportunity came at the Australian Open last week.
In their debut Super 500 tournament, Raymond/Joaquin managed to end it with champion status.They defeated Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri in the final round.

Before winning over Fajar/Fikri, Raymond/Joaquin also beat two top players from Malaysia, namely Man Wei Chong/Kai Wun Tee who were the third seeds and Goh Sze Fei/Nur Izzuddin who were the second seeds.
Raymond/Joaquin’s success in becoming the best at the Australian Open was indeed a surprise because this was their first tournament at the Super 500 level. However, looking at Raymond/Joaquin’s performance this year, their playing graph and achievements are indeed on the rise.
Throughout 2025, Raymond/Joaquin have won a total of six championship titles.Since starting as a pair, they have started their work in lower level tournaments such as the International Challenge and International Series.
As a result, Raymond/Joaquin won the Singapore International Challenge, Sri Lanka International Challenge, Luxembourg Open (International Series), and Denmark Challenge.
Raymond/Joaquin then moved up to a higher tournament level.They were able to win the Indonesia Masters II title, which is a Super 100 category tournament.
The success of winning many titles meant that Raymond/Joaquin were included in the series of Korea Masters (Super 300) and Australian Open (Super 500) tournaments with a one week break in between.
As a result, Raymond/Joaquin could be runners up in the Korea Masters, losing to Lee Jong Min/Wang Chan in the final.Meanwhile at the Australian Open, Raymond/Joaquin were able to finish with the title.
After their performance in 2025, Raymond/Joaquin will most likely move up to the main category in 2026.They will also be sent to high level tournaments more regularly than before.
At that moment, Raymond/Joaquin’s ability to move up to level will be tested.
