Two Indonesian representatives in
BWF World Tour Finals 2025

, avoiding bottom of the group phase after winning on Friday (19/12) morning.
Putri KW, who previously lost to An Se Young and Akane Yamaguchi, managed to beat Tomoka Miyazaki in a match at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium.
The women won 21-17 and 21-9 over the Japanese representative.Because of her win over Tomoka, Putri won one point and was ranked third in the final standings of Group A in women’s singles.

An Se Young leads the Group A standings after achieving three wins, over Putri, Tomoka and Akane.Meanwhile Akane occupied the runner up position.
Next, An Se Young and Akane will advance to the semifinals, while Putri will stop in the group phase.
Just like the women, the mixed doubles Jafar/Felisha also failed to advance to the semifinals.However, Jafar/Felisha were able to avoid the position of caretaker in the group phase.
Jafar/Felisha previously lost to Feng Yanzhe/Huang Dongping and Chen Tang Jie/Toh Ee Wei, so the door to the semifinals was closed.
In the last match, Jafar/Felisha were able to beat the Malaysian pair Goh Soon Huat/Shevon Jemie Lai with a score of 21-17 and 21-17.
Jafar/Felisha are ranked third in Group B mixed doubles, above Goh/Shevon and below Feng/Huang and Chen/Toh.
Three other representatives from Indonesia will still compete in the group phase today, namely Jonatan Christie, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, and Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani.
