responding to the proposal regarding the abolition of the Financial Services Authority’s Financial Information Services System (
OJK SLIK
) to buy a subsidized house.
Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait previously wanted the OJK SLIK to be abolished so that people could own homes, especially in the subsidy program provided by the government.
“We will investigate further, it seems that it is not just the OJK SLIK that makes them (low-income people/MBR) unable to get (house) credit. Even if it is removed, they are still unable to (buy a house),” answered Purbaya after the Coordination Meeting at the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (26/11).

Ara and Purbaya gave separate statements, even though they were both present at the meeting chaired by Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto yesterday.Ara went home through the Main Lobby, while Purbaya went home through the back door.
Ara has been quite vocal in highlighting the OJK SLIK problem.He even said that this problem is like a vicious circle because it never ends, and even produces a solution.
Ara even though he claims to have had 4 discussions with the OJK and met with banks.However, his party admitted that they still could not find a bright spot.
“I ask for this policy so that OJK SLIK with a certain value can be abolished. If possible, this is for those who want to take part, for example the subsidized housing program,” stressed Ara in a press conference at the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, Central Jakarta.
Ara made this proposal because many people in a number of areas complained about the same problem.In fact, the government is trying to suppress it
