Ministry of Finance (
Ministry of Finance
) will issue a Minister of Finance regulation (
PMK
) regarding tax relief for
BUMN
who carry out corporate actions. The plan is for the regulation to be published in December 2025.
This was stated by the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, after the Danantara Supervisory Board Meeting.
According to him, special regulations regarding taxes are needed in the restructuring and consolidation of a number of BUMNs, including Pertamina.

“For
restructuring
This requires regulations, adjustments to the Minister of Finance’s regulations on taxation. So, that’s what we want to solve, not only for Pertamina, but for the entire process (BUMN).”There are mergers, acquisitions and others,” he explained at Wisma Danantara, South Jakarta, Friday (5/12).
“Hopefully the PMK will be completed this December,” said Airlangga optimistically.
This discussion is in line with President Prabowo Subianto’s direction asking that 1,000 BUMNs be downsized to only 200 companies.Airlangga said this step would lead to many corporate actions.
Separately, the Director General of Taxes at the Ministry of Finance, Bimo Wijayanto, agreed with what Coordinating Minister Airlangga said.Bimo explained that the incentive plan would be given for the next 3-4 years.
Bimo said that providing this tax facility does not reduce tax payments from every corporate action. However, this restructuring and consolidation will not have much impact on BUMN dividends.
“We will discuss it again, later there will be a regulatory framework that will make BUMN more efficient and also make mergers more economical,” he explained.
However, the subordinate of the Minister of Finance, Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, emphasized that the discussion was still not final.
Purbaya previously explained that incentives from the Ministry of Finance were only for things that complied with statutory regulations. He gave the example that there would be tax incentives for BUMN corporate actions.
“He (CEO Danantara Rosan Roeslani) said that if you were told to pay all the taxes, it would be too expensive. I think that makes sense for consolidation, we will give it a certain number of years, the next 2 years-3 years,” said Purbaya after a Closed Working Meeting (Raker) with Commission XI DPR RI in Central Jakarta, Thursday (4/12).
“After that, every corporate action we take
n charges
.We will impose taxes according to the rules. This is the new Danantara and it is also a government project.”So, that (tax incentive) is a natural thing,” he continued.
