“Yes, that’s it, we’ll just do it. What else can we do? It’s called a sanction that we have to live with. I think that’s it,” said Sumardji at the Madya Stadium, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday (17/11).
On this occasion, Sumardji even informed that the FIFA Disciplinary Committee would hold another session.In this trial, it is possible that Sumardji will be subject to sanctions.

These two players also received a fine of 5,000 Swiss Francs or the equivalent of IDR 103 million.In other words, PSSI must pay a fine to FIFA of IDR 206 million.
Haye and Shayne were sanctioned for displaying unsportsmanlike behavior towards opponents and match officials during or after the match.
The match in question was against Iraq in the second match of Group B in the fourth phase of the 2026 World Cup Qualifications on 11 October 2025. This match ended 1-0 in favor of Iraq.
After the match the Indonesian players protested to the referee.Because of this action, Haye and Shayne were given red cards.Manager Sumardji also received a red card.
Because the problem was almost the same, namely disturbing security and order, PSSI was sanctioned by FIFA in the form of a fine of 50 thousand Swiss francs, equivalent to IDR 1.03 billion.
