“Today, we carried out searches at the procurement center, then at the food crops and horticulture service and finally the South Sulawesi Province BKAD,” said Assistant for Special Crimes at the South Sulawesi Prosecutor’s Office, Rachmat Supriady, to reporters, Thursday (20/11).
Rachmat said the budget for procuring pineapple seeds in 2024 reached IDR 60 billion.

“The procurement value is IDR 60 billion. Meanwhile, we are still investigating the deviation,” he said.
Rachmat explained that the alleged corruption case in the procurement of pineapple seeds was reported last October and as many as 10 people as witnesses had been questioned.
“Since yesterday, approximately 10 people have been investigated (who have been questioned). We are just investigating, we will immediately relay it,” he said.
However, Rachmat has not been able to reveal who was involved in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of pineapple seeds, which amounted to IDR 60 billion.
“We’ll check later. Basically it’s related to this procurement activity,” he said.
Meanwhile, Acting Head of the South Sulawesi SP Communications and Information Service Andi Winarno Eka Putra said that his party respects the ongoing legal process.
“We have heard that, and of course the provincial government respects the ongoing legal process,” said Andi Winarno.
