Prosecutor: Defendant of Incitement to Demonstration Uploads Content Asking Prabowo to Resign

The public prosecutor revealed a number of content uploaded by the defendants in the alleged case

The four defendants in this case are Lokataru Foundation Director Delpedro Marhaen, @blokpolitikpelajar account manager Muzaffar Salim, @gejayanmemanggil account manager Syahdan Husein, and @aliansimahasiswamenggil account manager Khariq Anhar.
In the indictment, the prosecutor said that on August 24, defendant III Syahdan uploaded electronic information in the form of content on the Instagram social media account @gejayanmemanggil.

Then defendant IV Khariq Anhar as social manager of Instagram @aliansimahasiswapenglaint approved the collaborative upload of the content.
The content is said to be aimed at calling for the resignation of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, the dissolution of the Red and White Cabinet, and the elimination of Jokowi’s oligarchic influence which is considered to be damaging the foundations of democracy.
“Specific statements regarding demands in the action mean an invitation to the wider community to carry out revolution and provocation, categorized as incitement or inviting other people to carry out certain actions that disturb public order or go against the government,” said the prosecutor in a trial at the Central Jakarta District Court, Tuesday (16/12).
The prosecutor stated that on August 25 2025 a demonstration took place at the DPR/MPR RI Building, then the defendants, both individually and together, again posted and/or collaborated with the aim of creating feelings of hatred or hostility towards the Government.
The prosecutor said that on August 25 defendant II Muzaffar Salim uploaded electronic information in the form of content on the Instagram social media account @blokpolitikpelajar, which was then followed by defendant III Syahdan Husein as the manager of the Instagram social media account @gejayanmemanggil approving the collaborative upload of this content together with other social media accounts, namely @guruhonorermuda, @jkt.grassrootsmvmnt, and @jurnalpelajar1312.
“With the aim of mobilizing students to take part in demonstrations. The content is open and can be seen by anyone,” said the prosecutor.
The prosecutor said that police patrols found 80 collaborative posts of inflammatory content with the aim of inciting hatred against the government on Instagram social media which were distributed by Delpedro and other defendants in the period 24-29 August 2025.

There was a police protest in the courtroom
On the other hand, during the trial, the attorney for the Director of the Lokataru Foundation, Delpedro Marhaen, and three other defendants protested against the presence of police officers in the courtroom at the Central Jakarta District Court, Tuesday.
The protest was conveyed after the reading of the indictment carried out by the Public Prosecutor in today’s trial.
“We want to get information. Firstly, Your Honor, that there should be no security forces in this trial, let alone use of weapons,” said one of Delpedro cs’ attorneys.
The attorney asked that there be no more police officers at the follow-up hearing next week.
“It’s good to allow them to leave this room for the next trial,” he said.
Chief Judge Harika Nova Yeri did not specifically respond to the objection.Harika only said that the trial would run effectively if all parties worked together.
“This trial will proceed very effectively if we all work together well. We are looking for the truth, don’t ruin it with things that could make this not run smoothly. I hope for your cooperation,” said Harika.
During the trial with the agenda for reading the indictment today, it was seen that there were a number of police officers standing guard in the courtroom.
