Patra Niaga will launch fuel oil products (
BBM
) latest to be named
Biosolar Performance
in early 2026 to support the needs of the industrial sector.
Biosolar Performance is a development of Biosolar which is equipped with the Pertatec (Pertamina Technology) formula.
This product is designed to maintain fuel system cleanliness, suppress deposit formation, and maintain engine performance stability in continuous industrial operations.

President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga Mars Ega Legowo Putra said the presence of Biosolar Performance was part of the company’s efforts to provide energy solutions that provide added value to the national industrial sector.
“Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to strive to provide energy products that are able to increase the reliability and operational efficiency of industrial consumers. We have prepared Biosolar Performance as fuel

“which supports the sustainability of industrial activities in the future,” said Mars Ega in a press conference at his office, Monday (22/12).
From a technical perspective, Biosolar Performance shows improved performance based on test results, including increased fuel performance, reduced tendency for fuel filter clogging (
filter blocking tendency
), cleaning deposits in the fuel system, and increasing filter replacement cost efficiency.
With these characteristics, this product is considered capable of reducing the risk of downtime and reducing industrial machine maintenance costs.
VP Business Development & Subsidiary Patra Niaga, Sigit Setiawan explained, Biosolar Performance was designed to answer industrial operational needs with high working hours and heavy machine loads, so that

higher operational capacity than conventional B40.
“Technically, Biosolar Performance helps keep the fuel system clean and stable, so that engine performance is more optimal and operational costs can be reduced. This is a solution for industrial consumers who need long-term reliability,” explained Sigit.
As part of the preparation stage, VP Industrial & Marine Fuel Pertamina Patra Niaga Oos Kosasih explained that Biosolar Performance had been tested in a number of industrial sectors, including upstream oil and gas and mining.
“Pertamina Patra Niaga targets this product to be commercially available in early 2026 through the Industrial & Marine Fuel Business service scheme, accompanied by technical and commercial assistance for consumers,” explained Oos.
